8 weeks behind bars
Members of the Horsebite Cafe will be participating in a bicycle ride across the west coast starting July 1st.
The tour is to promote the release of a novel written by longtime friend James Kaelan. Along with James, we will ride from Santa Monica to Vancouver with nothing more than bikes, tents, and video cameras.
There are several press appearances en route, and a few loose ideas being thrown around, but we are also asking for your help. The image below illustrates our route. You see, we have only so many places to seek shelter at this point. Many nights will be spent in agricultural fields, cocooned loosely in industrial plastic, like uncomfortable rain burritos. However romantic crappy camping can be, variety is still the spice of life.
So if you or a friend are interested in grassroots literature and would like to connect with us along this awesome bike ride, check out our route and get in touch with one of us.
