In other news-this computer belongs to the school and it's one of those teal G4's. it's pretty slow to use, so it makes me grind my teeth and slap my lips when trying to do stuff on it.

This is embarrassing

Perhaps this should be a document exploring the nature of student film. When forced with a tight deadline and conflicting control issues, the tendency for amateur film is to resort to abrasive images and subjects to fill the void where originality should be. So, a group project had to be completely that demonstrated spatial continuity, and a couple other easy ideas. I'm just glad there are no cowboys, explosions, or voice overs recited during slow motion about future disasters and(or) the apocalypse. Bongs, and weed are stupid! This idiotic movie is good for a half-hearted laugh, directed towards either the content or the creators. The choice is yours. Most of the people on the couch are from the film class. I don't know there names.

These two came by the house the other day to record some music in my hi-tek recording bedroom soundstage. Real basic stuff, but it came out pretty well.

My sound recording experience now covers this band, the Reptilicus album, and the Bad Bandannas Live Breakout. Whats next?

New Artsy Movie

In Team News-

We've been carrying on towards the completion of the yet to be named "Artsy Movie." Heres a few screen shots from completed portions of this project.


Our resident "INDY" filmaker explains why independant film is so important to todays society.


The troubled artist "Rigell" explains how true art is like the proverbial turtle, and he wants to climb inside of it's shell.


And, our experemental noise band shows how they are at the mercy of the sound because it actually plays them.

This will be finished pretty soon and it'll be along the lines of the dogshit and skateboard video's, just longer.

Inspiration beyond belief

I was so inspired by anallee's photoshop work that I decided to try to copy her. I was so exited that I even chose the exact same subject and theme. Instead of the giant destructive marine reptile Reptilicus, I tried to make her look like a marine mamal killing a fish. What do you guys think?

So heres the deal. She's really a dog, not a seal. With that out of the way I can announce that The Horsebite Cafe will be having it's first ever contest. All I can tell you now is that it will be called the "Photoshitty Main Event." The rules will be posted within 24 hours. There will be a prize. This is not a joke.
